“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we will ever do.”
- Brené Brown
Hi - I’m Carri and I’m glad you are here!
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and if you’re anything like most people I work with, you might be feeling a mix of emotions—hopeful, uncertain, maybe even a little overwhelmed. That’s okay! You don’t have to figure it all out before you start.
I work with adults navigating life’s tougher seasons—grief, trauma, big transitions, relationship problems, or just that stuck feeling you can’t quite shake. My approach is down-to-earth, practical, and tailored to you. That might mean you’d like faith brought into your counseling, or maybe not. Perhaps you have a preference for deeper work or you want more tools to navigate daily life. With collaboration, I can help make counseling fit your needs. I draw from research-backed methods like trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and Gottman method, but more than anything, I want therapy to feel like a space where you can be real. No judgment, no pressure—just a place to sort through what’s on your mind and find a way forward that makes sense for you (or your relationship, if I’m working with a couple).
A little about me
It’s no surprise that I’m a counselor, as I love deep conversations. Outside of therapy, I’m most likely reading, working on a puzzle while listening to music and enjoying a good cup of tea, out for a walk, or watching a movie. Healing and growth are important to me so I’m often listening to podcasts, trainings, and reading about mental health.
